Marketing for dental offices is significantly different than any other kind of communication. Why you ask? While I should have been prepared to answer this question, it is Friday, and my brain is already at nappy hour.
So if you can give me some time to sleep on it, I will be ready when I am ready...
That is the same for the dental consumer/soon to be - hopefully - new patient of yours/dentists. They are ready when they are ready, and they WILL NEED DENTISTRY!
Will consumers come in, will they want to pay your fees, will the prospective patient need to be convinced, encouraged, more thoroughly informed? Yes, some will need all of these, some more or less.
However, dentists, unless you make yourself AVAILABLE as much as possible, they will do one of at least two things. Consumers will continue to put off needed dentistry longer than they should and/or go to another dentist not as good as you, or simply one who understands the need for consistent marketing strategies.
These sure sales strategies include elements such as dentists' websites and dental logos to outdoor advertising and dentistry postcards.
